Hi, I bought an old house with 1"x8" siding. These shiplap boards are really old and many are coming off. I need to repair it from the inside since there is an adjacent house, too close to work between the walls. Andy asks: How come water heaters aren't normally located in the attic of a house? In the summer time, the attic temp is around 120-130 here in Texas. In the winter time, the temp is at least 20-30 degrees higher than the outside temp. Yet, water heaters are rountinely located in garages, or un-air conditioned room...... more »

I needed to make a quick table to put my scanner above my printer and saw that I had a inherited a few scraps of HW flooring that work perfectly! Sorry for the grainy image. I'm leaving it at original res. Just some glue and >poof<, a great table top. Which, by the way, is fairly tough because it's meant for, oh, *walking* on.... more »

I live in North Florida. There is a yellow jacket bee hive in a big clump of pampass grass (sawgrass), that I can't get rid of. I have used the long-shot Black Flag sprays, using a total of (3 ) 18 oz cans at one time, but I cannot get rid of the nest. The bees come right back to it.
