It was suggested that I take Valerian root to help with my sleeping
problems. I could not sleep because of my mind going "hyper" as soon
as I went to bed. It worked very well but it continued to work
throughout the following morning. I could not find a dose level that
only worked for about 6 hours. It either worked for 12 hours or not at
all. It stopped working altogether after about 3 weeks.

Dear Harland,
Drowsiness is an effect of most any muscle relaxant.  But there are some
side effects.  It is best taken in very small doses at any time other
than bedtime.  I would suggest a liquid tincture so as to regulate your
doses to your liking.

From Dr. Terry Willard, Ph.D. "Textbook of Modern Herbology,"
ACTIONS:  Antispasmodic, Nervine, Stimulant, Tonic, Carminitive, and
Anti-diuretic, AND

Warning:  "Though small ordinary doses of valerian root are good, large
doses taken over a period of time (can) cause headache, heaviness and
stupor.  Valerian root should never be boiled."

Other nervine herbs can be used for extended periods with better
results, IMHO.

I would more likely question your tactics Joe since you sell colloidal
minerals.  Although Doug Grant is the president of Infinity2 he does
not need any mining license for colloidal minerals his company is
associated with Albion labs which is the largest supplier of chelated
minerlas in the world.  Also when you take the colloidal minerals that
you sell your body then needs to be detoxified!!! So stop trying to
mislead people with this colloidal garbage!!! If any one needs to keep
their facts straight it is the colloidal peddlars!!!

And where, may I ask did you find that information?

>>So stop trying to mislead people with this colloidal garbage!!!<<

Sorry, I don't sell colloidal garbage, but I do use them.  The one that I
use contains none of the
questionable minerals found in many brands.  The chemistry is there, the
method of absorbtion is there.  All factors have been addressed.  Why are
you taking such offence to colloidal  products, what are you afraid of?
There is no scientific evidence to show that mineral solutions are any
less absorbable than any other forms of absorbtion, especially if in a
(-)ionized state and implemented with multilamelar liposomes.  Your
argument holds no merit.

The man?  What are you hiding from?  I get a good chuckle every time I see
you sign this.

Joe :)

Is this FACT or does it serve your self interest.  I would appreciate a
peer review or some scientific study reference.  If this article is true
it appears that colloidal minerals are a waste of time and money since
they are not assimilated.  I would like some biochemical expert to comment
on this.  TIA, Ken

While the battle of the MLMers continues, I will continue to avoid
any colloidal mineral product simply because of the association of
collidal minerals with the factually bogus Dead Doctors tape. If lies
are needed to sell a product then the product can't be all that great.

BTW, I read about the superior assimilation of chelated minerals
long before the colloidal mineral fad ever appeared.

I've been taking Proanthenols Bio-Cjomplex HP from a company called Life
Plus.  It has really helped my sons allergies.  The sniffing has stopped.
Also, surprisingly, it seemed to really help my immune system.  I am super
allergic to poison ivy, & since taking these pills I have managed to avoid
getting any (even though I know I was handling it in some heavy duty yard
work).  Usually I get it is severe, I'm always put on steroids (which I
hate).  This product is all natural, & wonderful.  Can't say enough good
about it.  It can be ordered directly from a company called Life Plus

I have found a wonderful product to end allergies naturally.  It is
Proanthenols Bio-Complex HP100.  Since taking these, my sons sniffing has
stopped completely.  My allergies seem to be no more (which never happened
even getting allergy shots).  Also, it builds up your immune system.  It
has kept me from getting poison ivy, since being on these (even though I
know I've been in it, doing some serious yard cleaning). I get poison ivy
very easily, & then always have to be put on steroids.  It thrilled me.  I
can't say enough good about this product.  I have my whole family on them.
